For those of you who have already purchased and/or built an RC Airplane, would like to see how it flies, Learn how to fly it safely, this is where you want to be.  For those who think they want to get into the hobby and just want to try it out, we have club training Aircraft one of our instructors can use for an introductory flight.  We can advise you on the type of trainer and transmitter to purchase as your first airplane for the hobby.

Our club is very dedicated to promoting this hobby. We have some of the best instructors Rhode Island has to offer and most of them are certified AMA Introductory Pilots.We do our best to accommodate our student / novice pilots in training.

Our instructors follow AMA best practices where by using the “buddy box” method for flight instruction. The “buddy box” system allows instructors and student pilots to use a pilot-copilot system before, during and post flight. This insures all pre-flight checklists, in flight training and post flight safety routines are followed and enforced properly and in compliance with AMA rules. From taxiing, to takeoff, to touch down, your instructor will be by your side.
